If You Love Her, Let Her Go

source

Hey there, Hive fellows! Today, I'm exploring a bit into the delightful yet perplexing world of relationships and the classic cliché: "If you love her, let her go." You know, that moment when you're torn between holding onto your babe with a tight grip and setting them free to explore the wild unknown.

Now, don't get me wrong; I'm no relationship guru, but let's face it, this dilemma can be as confusing as trying to find Waldo in a crowd of corporate people. Seriously, Waldo, why do you keep hiding? 😅

I get it, relationships are important, so let's not take off all the magic here but also have some 9Gag fun 😁. So, picture this: You're sitting there, staring into your loved one's eyes, and your heart's like, "Don't you dare let this gem go!" But your brain's like, "But freedom... and solo pizza nights!" Ugh, the struggle is real, my friends.

So, where are these relationship dilemmas? I mean, seriously, letting someone go sounds like releasing a wild butterfly into the open – you're proud of it, but deep down, you're hoping it flies back to your finger, right? But, you know, if it's meant to be, it'll come back with a bunch of hilarious stories to tell.

Plus, let's be honest here – a funny relationship advice is that space can be a good thing. It's like hitting the pause button on a game. You recharge, level up, and come back stronger. It's like a cheat code for relationships! Of course, you don't have to throw anyone over the border 🙄😅

But hey, before you go all "let her go" on your partner, make sure you're not secretly hoping they'll start a quest to win you back, like some rom-com plot. Real life isn't always that cinematic, right?

Singlehood can be also a glorious adventure filled with exciting stories and hilarious fails in the dating world. Laughter therapy is the best medicine for relationship dilemmas!

So, the idea would be that if you truly love her and she's set on exploring the world, just let her go. Give her wings to fly and be the supportive partner she'll appreciate. And who knows, both of you might even discover new hobbies, new ways of reinventing yourself, and deciding if you work your best together or not.

And Yes, 9Gag is here to provide endless laughter and support, no matter what path you choose. Cheers to love, laughter, and all the funny creepy relationship moments life has in store for us!

Now, excuse me, I've got some Waldo-finding stuff to do 😄
Have fun too!

You remind me of that sad song sung by David Gates ("Bread" - a 1970s band).
If you listen to the song, do not read the lyrics first. :)

(Lyrics at the end of this comment)

Letting Go

seems to be the hardest thing for us - esp lost loved ones (whether they leave us of their own volition, or death takes them).
What is 9Gag....
Interesting post! Thanks for it.

And now as promised ... the lyrics:

*I found her diary underneath a tree
And started reading about me
The words she'd written took me by surprise
You'd never read them in her eyes
They said that she had found
The love she'd waited for
Wouldn't you know it?
She wouldn't show it
When she confronted with the writing there
Simply pretended not to care
I passed it off as just in keeping with
Her total disconcerting air
And though she tried to hide
The love that she denied
Wouldn't you know it?
She wouldn't show it
And as I go through my life
I will give to her, my wife
All the sweet things, I can find

I found her diary underneath a tree
And started reading about me
The words began to stick and tears to flow
Her meaning now was clear to see
The love she'd waited for
Was someone else, not me
Wouldn't you know it?
She wouldn't show it
And as I go through my life
I will wish for her, his wife
All the sweet things she can find
All the sweet things #they can find*

I am glad that you found the post insightful. Thank You also for the song. Although it has a sad tone, it has this nice ending of wishing the loved one the best - all the sweet things. It might not be easy to step outside a relationship, as you said, but wanting the best for the other one, that's in my opinion really loving the other.
