My Two Best Belongings: Fan And Wall Clock

Hello everyone, hhow are you all doing and welcome to this week's prompt. Somehow, we have different personal belongings at home, but then, there are few thay matters more to us depending on how frequent we use thereby placing a high value on them. To me, i have chosen my standing fan and wall clock to be my best personal belongings and i will be sharing the Why i have decided to choose them.

• Standing Fan

My standing fan has been serving me alot of purpose, i remember early this year when heat was getting too much, making some people feel rrally uncomfortable sleeping inside their own apartments, some will even preffer to lay their mats outside and sleept, but this fan right here rescued me and saved me from that stress.

I bought it around may, 2022 for the sum of 15,000 naira which is 35 hive equivalent. I had to buy this OX brand because the other brand didn't even take me up to a year and it got spoilt. If there is too much heat like we experienced last week, i will just put it on, infact i will be the one to wakeup at night to turn it off.

I have much weight so i sweat a whole lot,inorder not to mess my mattrrass with sweat, thia fan right here is my go-to saver else I would've been washing my bedspread everyday because of sweat. Whatever it is, i cant stay a day without putting this fan on especially this winter season, me and this fan, we will be like 5&6, atleast i can go weeks without seeing movie on my television but a day without receiving cool breeze is a no to me.

• Wall Clock

Tick says the clock tick tick, what you have to do, do quick, this was my best rhyme back then in my nursery school days and it is very applicable to my everyay day life. Somehow, i dont even know how i preffered this clock over my audio player, maybe because of the value it gives. I am fan of my wall clock because this one has an alarm, i only have to set the time at the back of the engine, and boom! It will wake me up because my phone may switch off anytime, this serves my everyday purpose.

I bought this in the year 2020 for 5000 naira which is equivalent 12 steem equivalent, thatwas then, i don't know the current price now since alot of things are skyrocketing their prices everyday. Sometimes, i might be so busy in the morning maybe doing my chores, immediately i enter my room and i hear the tick tick sound, i will just look up to check what time it is, if i am behind my scheduled time for work, then i will have to round up whatever i was doing and prepare for work.

I can't even overemphasize the importance of my wall clock, though it cracked last week when i took it out to replace the dead batteries, but then it is still working perfectly just as before. This wall clock is always a reminder that time waits for no man, we only wait for time.
