My Weird Moves

Life is weird. I, too, am acting weird. The weirdness is just stuff I deliberately want to do but I discovered that if you do not make some weird decisions, you may not get a weird result. At least, those of us from less developed or developing nations will understand.

I have decided to be weird. I am just taking after those people who have acted weird and have broken away from stagnation as a result.

First, one newly graduated female law student refused to drive from the siren of a naval convoy in Lagos. The traffic was high and it was the usual rush hour when everyone wants to get home.

In annoyance, the orderly of the senior naval officer pounced on the lady and beat her to a pulp. She simply recorded the whole scene. Some hungry lawyers, I mean those that did not have a chamber to work in, sued the navy It was a long trial for the officers as they were court-martialed. In the end, the lady was paid a compensation of ninety million. Yeah, you heard right. A whopping ninety million naira for that matter.

When I read this in the national dailies, I decided to go try it too but I never met a stubborn or power-drunk naval officer.

After all my trying, I gave up on the idea and started to search for something crazy to do. Then, something came to my mind.

Consumer Protection Law

It was in a lecture that I heard that when you find any kind of particle in your bottled drink, you have become a millionaire. I even heard the lecturer say that the popular 7up bottling company wind up because of this laxity.
From that day, I started to look around for particles in bottled drinks.
You can imagine what joblessness could cause a young man like me. I understand well that it is not a good idea to expect the downfall of a fellow man. In all, I couldn't lay my hands on a bad bottled drink. I guess the bottling companies have learned a lesson from the 7up experience.

Now, I have to change my modus operandi. Every Saturday, I would just put on nice clothes, with sharp gators indicating that it has been ironed. I would just enter an event center and sit like a special guest. I tell you that the experience has been awesome. I have taken a new level of frolicking around high-class parties on the island of Lagos.

Recently, I wore dark shades of white and well-laundered agbada to a five-star event hosted by a serving senator. On arriving at the place, heavily built bouncers were at the entrance. Immediately, I knew it would be very difficult to enter the hall. I know that I am a smart chap. I waited patiently in the parking lot, and as soon as I saw a group of politicians walking into the hall, I joined them and we passed through the bouncers. Seriously, I know it is a dangerous move, but I enjoyed every bit of luxury that the party holds.

This is my newest weird move to having as much fun as I could get. I termed it, Operation take back your life.

That was so smart of you, to have march in the event hall with the politicians, even the politicians themselves, will thought you were a politician from somewhere that's attending the event, talkless of the heavy body's at the entrance, those wouldn't had a slightest idea about who you are.
It's nice that you gave up, about finding a particle in a bottle drink, looking for another person downfall is not good.
