Exodo

I had mentioned earlier my love for animals, and today I'm mentioning another dog named Exodus.

Exodus is stationed as a guardian at my parents' main house in Buena Vista.

I don't agree with him being tied up, but there's a reason... across from the house, there are very fierce stray dogs belonging to the neighbor, and they've fought before... they're fierce rivals, so for his physical integrity, Exodus remains tied up.

My parents let him loose at night in the big yard, which gives me slight comfort but comfort nonetheless.

You'll notice in the photo his large jaws, I think he didn't take kindly to me... he does his job very well as a caretaker.

I just took a photo of Exodus and ran to other corners of the yard, thinking not to get hurt, as I value my life.

One never knows when they might cease to exist, and I'm not being dramatic, just cautious with everything related to prevention.

That doesn't mean I'm cowardly. I like feeling safe, that's all.

And Exodus is very loved, no doubt about it, he's part of the family.

I'll go ahead and list the names of all the dogs: Exodus, Shina, Suleiman, and Samsa. The cats: Magico, Magica, Tigrilla, and Comadreja. All the chickens have names, but I only remember one: Silvita.

There are the old quails that no longer lay eggs, beloved but nameless... incredible.

A home with animals is complete. That's my humble opinion. What do you think?

It's always TODAY. And it's a gift.
