RE: [Movie] The Gorge (2025) - They're Not Keeping You Out. They're Keeping Them In.
You are viewing a single comment's thread:
Movies with different plots and stories are usually more criticized by the public because they are not what is normally consumed nowadays. It's a fact that in the world of cinema and streaming, films and television series only repeat the same formulas, the same plots, and the same old clichés to connect with the audience. It's what sells best right now, which also means there aren't many new or "risky" proposals getting the attention they deserve when they reach the big or small screen.
This film really catches my attention, mainly because of the mysticism of the story itself regarding what lies beyond or what the sniper is protecting people from.
Good recommendation.

That's very true. What you've said explains it all. Some of us are interested in seeing the new ideas, plots and stories that haven't been explored. The recycling is tiring and exhausting, killing the creative prowess of directors and writers as well. But it's good to see a movie like this that goes otherwise.
That itself is the real deal about the film. The mystery of what lies within. Hopefully, you'll enjoy it.
