GET TO KNOW MY HIVE NICHE

Do I really have a niche in Hive? Oh yes, I do. I remember the first time I joined this amazing platform last year in October, @kenechukwu97 guided me on how to make my introductory post and encouraged me to visit as many communities as possible and discover which one suited my interest.

I have never been a writer before finding myself here, in fact, I jumped and passed literature as a course because writing and summarizing a written content or novel has never been my thing. I prefer using a formula to solve mathematics or physics and the rest and getting my answer immediately rather than sitting down to write a novel or poem and co. So finding my niche got me thinking out loud!

I was like what do I even know to write again after my introduction post, then I remember the motherhood community, yah!!!💃 🤗 I said to myself, having three children with lots of motherhood experiences will definitely give me so many things to write about in that community. I immediately concur with my inner thought and boom, I found myself there. I started engaging in people's posts, I read and comment as much as possible and the good thing is that the more I engage, the more I get ideas on what to write about.

The motherhood community became my niche, it became my comfort zone in hive🤩. I remember asking my cousin brother @kenechukwu97 if I would be penalized by writing only in one community 🤦‍♀️, he laughed at loud and assured me that it isn't a problem once I am comfortable blogging there.

At times I will be lucky with a good reward/vote, many times too I don't get an encouraging vote but I kept blogging with joy. So many hidden skills in me kept unfolding, I became so creative in some things, I give attention to details in my environment and get content to blog about.

I saw myself joining the contest in the ladies of Hive community and hive learners community and blog without much struggle unlike before. I never knew I can write on any other topic other than motherhood experience not until when these contests helped me discover my little writing skill. I can't forget to mention the Newbies initiative program which is still in progress now, glad to be a partaker.. this program has revealed my me me and still reveals more things about me in my blogging journey.

I am still on the mission of discovering other niches of mine on this platform, my tour into other communities with engagement has been positive, and very soon hopefully, I will have other niches.
