I'm still betting that when they change from frn's to real money that the change will have to assume the new value because replacing them would be logistics nightmare.
Have you checked to separate out the ones with more metal value than face value?

One of my hobbies has long been numismatics. The pic is the last of unsorted pennies collected from before they stopped producing them in Canada.
Canada doesn't have pennies, anymore?
I knew reagan debased our's, but I didn't know they stopped ya'lls.
Just a few years ago, but yeah they had fun rounding up prices for a bit. Take care of your pennies and the dollars will take care of themselves. ;)
