Instant Homemade Phuchka Festival to Satisfy Kids' Cravings.
How are you all? Hope everyone is well. Today I want to share with you a very simple but delicious moment of my homemade fuchka.
Bengalis are fuchka lovers, and if there are small children at home, then it is no wonder. My kids have been craving fuchka for the past few days. Buying them from outside doesn't always seem healthy, so I thought I would make something for them at home today.
I had already bought the shells or golgappas for making fuchka. So without any further hassle, I just fried them in hot oil. When the fuchkas were puffing up in the oil, who could see the joy of the kids 😊
The real taste of fuchka is hidden in its filling. I boiled potatoes and made a quick filling with various spices and green chilies. However, the specialty of my fuchka was the egg yolk on top. I grated boiled eggs and spread them on the fuchka. It not only adds elegance to the taste, but also looks beautiful.
Fuchka remains incomplete if it is not accompanied by sour. I made a spicy-sour-sweet drink by mixing tamarind water with dried chili powder and some special homemade spices. When the chili grains floated on the sour, everyone's tongues were watering.
Finally, when I served it in front of the children on a red plate, the smiles on their faces were priceless. We all sat in a circle and enjoyed the fuchka.
This fuchka, made with little effort at home, is much safer and more satisfying than unhealthy food outside. The children are happy, and as a mother, I am also satisfied. Who among you likes to make fuchka at home? Don't forget to tell me in the comments.
