Searching For Friends Of Peace - Day 2 || IAmAliveChallenge (IAAC) #189

The day was Tuesday 18th of November, 2025, the second day of the preaching campaign in search of the friends of peace at Ikot Abia, Mkpat Enin local government area of Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria.

As early as 5.45am we were up to start the morning routine and preparation to move. We considered the morning worship daily text which was taken from Ephesians 2:5 that emphasizes the fact that "...by undeserved kindness you have been saved." Just like Paul who enjoyed a satisfying life in God's service despite facing many challenges along the way, we too have to brace up the challenge not allowing the long distance treck to weigh us down. After that we then prepare the breakfast, taking our bath and getting dressed and then settle to eat the breakfast together.

By 8.50am we were already at the kingdom hall for the meeting for field service where we meet with the local brothers. After pairing and the prayer we set out for the second territory at Ikot Udo, Mkpat Enin local government, just opposite the first territory. This means that the territory is the same distant one that took us almost an hour trekking to arrive there.

As soon as we got to the territory, we immediately commence the search for friends of peace and declare the goodnews of God's kingdom to them. So many were very excited to see us come thus far to preach to them, hence they pay rapped attention and eager to see it continue.

Even the little ones were very attentive as the message of hope sink into their minds and hearts.

The heat of the sun was not hot enough to deter us from moving from one house to another and all the nucks and crannies where anyone can be found and leave the message with them.

The brilliance and shining faces of these preachers speaks louder than words could say about the joy they have.

After completing the territory we gathered and makes plans to return to base.

The next day will be for another territory, stay tuned.
