Mr. Goodwin was very attached to his Cadillac, so much so that over the years he had spent a sum of money on it with which he could have bought a new small car. Every time he took it to his trusted mechanic, he shook his head because he knew he would have to charge an embarrassing amount for the work to get the car back on track.

Il sig. Goodwin era legatissimo alla sua Cadillac, tant'é che negli anni ci aveva speso una cifra con la quale avrebbe potuto comprarsi una nuovo piccola auto. Ogni volta che la portava dal suo meccanico di fiducia, questi scuoteva la testa perchè sapeva che avrebbe dovuto chiedergli un importo imbarazzante per il lavoro per rimettere l'auto in sesto.
