After yet another session with the mechanic, Mr. Goodwin drove his Cadillac through the country lanes, proud as a new father with his newborn child in his lap. Even though it had cost him almost a thousand dollars, he was back behind the wheel of his racing car, with the breeze ruffling his hair and the joy of traveling side by side with his trusty four-wheeled companion.

Dopo l'ennesima sessione dal meccanico il sig. Goodwin guidò la sua Cadillac per le stradine della campagna, fiero come un novello padre con la creatura appena venuta al mondo in grembo. Anche se gli era costato quasi un migliaio di dollari, era di nuovo al volante del suo bolide, con la brezza che gli scompigliava i capelli e la gioia di viaggiare affiancato dalla sua fidata compagna a quattro ruote.
