Another Holy Day on Easter Weekend

Holy Saturday.

Jesus is in the Tomb.

On Holy Saturday, which is the day after Good Friday and the eve of Easter Sunday, Christians traditionally observe a time of quiet reflection and waiting, commemorating the period when Jesus' body was in the tomb.

It's a time to meditate on Christ's Passion, death, and descent into hell, while anticipating his resurrection. Many churches begin the celebration of the Easter Vigil service on Holy Saturday, which marks the beginning of the Easter season.
