Ai Art … is it even Art ?

My very Unpopular Opinion.

As a fellow traditional Artist and traditional acoustic musician, let me chime in here.

I for one understand and appreciate the AI Art and Music I see shared here on Hive, YouTube, Twitter, Nostr and Blurt.

No explanation is needed.

All Art is experiment. Whether created with a pencil, a brush, a camera, a textual prompt with AI. This is my opinion as a Traditional Artist of over 50 years. Selling my paintings in galleries for the last 30 years.

Some of the AI artwork I am seeing these days is breathtaking.

Extraordinarily Beautiful.

When you have been an Artist for 50 years everything you do is an experiment to learn and elevate your work.

I stopped sharing my original traditional work on any Form of Social media years ago. When it started being downvoted on HIVE.

Thanks to Hive , I ONLY SHARE my real work in real life. (Occassionaly on YouTube and Blurt)

In my Opinion Blurt was made for Experiments.

You know … Have an idea or thought ? Just Blurt it Out.

I spend hours working and reworking textual prompts to create AI music. Is it original ? Yes, is it created with my voice ? Well I created the words, did hours of experiments and shared the one that captured my intent.

Anyways. I am really just on Blurt to experiment with all forms of technology and tools to learn … if I earn a little Blurt Power along the way it gives me the ability to upvote and give another artist more Blurt to like and upvote another Artist.
