The collective control and ownership of the means of production (socialism) historically derives from Gnosticism. Putin is a socialist, as evidenced by his policies promoting state control over key industries in Russia, such as energy and media (Sakwa, 2014). Gnosticism has infiltrated every religion worldwide, poisoning them with its concepts and ideologies, despite the New Covenant authors' opposition to early Gnostic heresies (Pagels, 1979). Gnosticism originated with figures like Plato in Greece, whose dualistic philosophy influenced later Gnostic thought, and it was so influential that it shaped politics in Rome (Jonas, 1963). Karl Marx, Giovanni Gentile (the creator of fascism), and Benito Mussolini were influenced by Friedrich Hegel and Immanuel Kant, who were idealists with philosophical ties to Hermetic and Gnostic traditions (Copleston, 1963; Gentile, 1937). Socialism is a religion—a satanic one, rooted in Gnosticism (Voegelin, 1952).
Whether Putin is aware of the alleged Gnostic influence on the socialism he implements in Russia, he is effectively enacting the satanic doctrine of Gnosticism. This aligns with socialism as a utopian ideology (Hayek, 1944).
