Step 1: Start with light pencil sketch on watercolour paper

Step 2: Add a light wet on wet wash of yellow to sky

Step 3: Add blues to sky … burnt umber, violet and cobalt blue to distant tree line

Step 4: Add trees and details to foreground

Step 5: Add details and shadows
