Well said.
I may see the following differently from you.
Investing in Bitcoin and cryptocurrency is just like buying shares of public companies
People seem to use the words investing and gambling loosely and sometimes interchangeably.
I focus on Risk Management. With technological advancement in market manipulation it is not a big leap to say everything in the marketplace is a gamble.

Though both have risks, their nature is different. In gambling, I see a 50/50 win/lose ratio; when you lose, your capital disappears. In stocks, it's rare to see your capital go to zero. In cryptocurrency, your capital might also crash to zero if you pick up the wrong ones.

How long have you been a stock trader?
I am sure the gambling houses are doing better than 50/50 ratio.
Understanding Risk versus Reward is a must. Comparing stocks to crypto doesn't offer much to me. In fact, saying crypto is misleading.
Best to be more specific and give context when making such comparison. The amount of resources an individual has cannot be neglected.
I appreciate the exchange.
Since 2015. When COVID struck, I sold all except one.
Yes, for sure, there are differences between crypto and stocks, but as for me, they are far better than gambling.

I'm not a big gambler. I have bought lottery tickets in the past but not so much now.
I was into card games when I was young. I am part of the gambling pillars in our community.
