RE: Will Trump's tariff war be profitable for the US or not?

It's not just the Tarifs, it's the overall hostility of the US to the rest of the world. Friends can't get a decent price for their Tesla because nobody wants to buy a second hand Tesla let alone a new one. One of my kids wouldn't eat when I fetch all four of my girls some KFC because it's American and she has a Danish friend. And yes, I'm buying a German power rack for my new home gym because I'm not going to risk surprise retalitory tarifs if I order an American power rack. So no, it won't be profitable. Tarif plus other US hostilities are going to be harmfull to both sides of the trade war, but mostly to the US.
