Doing Nothing

There are those that believe that only those who do bad things are wrong, only those people are unjust and should be considered evil bad guys but there's not the only group of people that can end up committing injustice.

There are situations where doing nothing is also wrong and considered unjust.

Let's just say you happen to be in a neighborhood where you spot a bad guy you happens to be a thief and you're well aware if it. You go about minding your business an saying well I wouldn't want to get involved in anyone's business so I'll mind my own. You ket the thief keep stealing from people when you could have just reported it to the police of the community.

So when the thief still keeps stealing, who's to be blamed, the thief or you? Of course you're not the one that stole it but you had all the power to prevent it and still aloud it. Wouldn't you consider that as injustice? Yes you're not bad but you allowed bad. And let's say on one day, the thief ends up killing someone just to escape from getting caught, whoever died is not only on the thief but technically on you too.

Doing nothing about a situation can lead to so much trouble. When we see someone being hurt or treated unfairly, and we stay silent, we become part of the problem.

Another example is being in a home where perhaps the parents mistreat the children. I know that somethings are beyond our ability to control but there's always a way out of most mess in life. Whenever you see injustice happening and you ignore it, you are simply allowing it to grow to an even bigger injustice.

If we see bullying and choose not to help, we let the bully win. You could confront it if you know you have the strength to face it our you could seek help from someone than can. Remember, when it comes to bullies, there'll always be another person they fear and by convincing that person to help out, yiu could stop the bullying.

Choosing not to act when we can help is like saying it’s okay for it to happen. You didn't utter the words but you sure did say it.

Don't get me wrong, I acknowledge the risk involved and the fact that it takes courage to speak up, but even small actions matter. Helping someone, telling the truth or standing up for what is right can make a big difference.

Good people doing nothing leads to bad things happening. Bad people doing nothing leads to good things happening. So if good people do more, good prevails and vice versa. Doing nothing can lead to so much.

That makes sense, probably why we feel guilty when we act unconcerned and do nothing when we observe or witness wrongdoing.

Yes girl that's exactly why, and it's a good thing when we feel that guilt, if a person crosses a line of no longer feeling guilt for things like these then such a person is no longer safe for society
