If You Don’t Sacrifice, You Lose What You Want

A lot of us are filled with so many desires, our dreams. The dream partner, lifestyle, career, house, car, a lot.

All these things if not given to you must be earned. You will have to put in a massive amount of effort to get them and that takes a whole lot of sacrifice. You'll sacrifice your sleep so you can stay up to prepare for that exams. You'll sacrifice pleasure in spending money so you can save and invest it. You'll sacrifice your comfort so you can have that future comfort.

What happens when you don't sacrifice pleasure to save money? Then you have no money to invest. It's not like you're bound to get lucky and have someone miraculously hand you a lot of money. So now you have no investments, no assets. Since you didn't sacrifice pleasure, you have sacrificed what could have been.

You become poor and look at people who sacrificed and hopefully not but you end up begging them, and there's no honor in that.

This is the results of not paying the price for what you want. You will make what you want the price you'll pay.

All that could have been, and the only reason why it didn't happen is you didn't make the decision.

Yes, a lot of factors cause people to fail, but I'm not talking about failure, I'm talking about quitting or not even making the attempt in the first place. That's not on life, that's probably on you and my greatest fear is to have to say that when I'm old. I wouldn't want that to be my excuse so making the sacrifice is not an option I can decide not to choose, it's a must.

Give up something for your goal or you're bound to give up your goals.
You want to get fit, learn a new skill, build that better life, it takes time, it takes effort and something so important, focus. That is the price I'm taking about, that's the sacrifice you can't afford to not give.
