Mindset is everything

The mindset is the one thing that truly separates one person from another in a major way. After all, life does not spare anyone, it keeps throwing things at people, surprises, both good and bad ones. You could be a kind hearted person and go through a lot of bad things.
Sometimes minor ones, sometimes major things that changes your life, one of the most devasting being the loss of a loved one.
But the way a person looks at the problem regardless of how big or small the problem is determines the whole atmosphere. Hope, which keeps living quietly in the heart of the one who has decided not to give up on life helps see a solution when the day goes wrong.
Pessimistic people will make a mountain out of a molehill.
You having a decent mindset does not necessarily mean blindly walk over the problems nor does it mean pretend that everything is fine. But it is primarily about having faith and trust that you will be able to solve whatever problem that comes your way.
That faith you have will do more for you than pep talk from people that care because the faith directs the choices.
Let me give you a good example, let's say you're a student. Starting point is the belief that if you were to study then you will pass, you the student studies, day in and day out
Because of your belief in preparation you put in the work. The more things you understand and memorize, the more your self confidence increases.
If doubt takes over you, then skipping practice, learning and preparation will become the habit, and there will be no progress. The real difference is in attitude not in skills. Your thoughts influence your mood, decisions and in the end the results you produce.
The process of changing your mind is not instant but gradually through small habits. You can begin with gratitude, speak kindly to yourself, be good to yourself, focus on what is in your control and not the things you can't do anything about. Your small daily efforts will eventually add up. Sometimes, the old habit comes back and you stumble, it happens. Keep coming back to those small actions, again and again.
Mindset determines what your mornings will be like, how you'll react to setbacks, and how you will relate with others. Choose a mindset that will make you an achiever.
