Simple exercises that can save your desk wrecked shoulders

I spend so much time sitting at my desk. And you know what happens when you do that a lot. My shoulders and neck are in so much pain for the most part of the day.
A friend of mine told me it’s because I haven’t moved enough and my muscles are losing strength. That made a lot of sense to me, or so I thought. So I started doing these chin tucks, which is where I pull my head back like I’m making a double chin. Who cares if I look silly because it really does help. And then I do wall angels too, where you stand against the wall with your arms and slowly lift and lower them. That gets to burning after just a few rounds.
Stretching helps too. You’re supposed to hold your stretch for about 30 seconds for every muscle group. I stretch my chest for 30 seconds and my neck for 30 seconds. But to tell you the truth, I don’t always count right and sometimes I miss it because I easily get too distracted when I'm counting and someone says something.
The pain doesn't go away completely, but it does get a lot better while I am doing the exercises consistently on a daily basis. That isn't always possible for me because I often forget to do the exercises for a couple days and then I have to restart.
If you really want to see results from this, as all things you need to be consistent, you need to do the exercises daily. There are definitely some days when I’m not feeling it. I am still in pain even when I am consistent with the exercises. But the most times I remember to stretch and do my exercises, I feel much more flexible. It won't always be perfect but trust me it'll be better.
The guide below is a perfect guide to help you with the right exercise.
