Want to be a diamond?

Who doesn't want to be successful in life? We all want success, we want the praise from the world, a life that people notice and respect as being great.
The majority of people want the prize, but it's only a few who actually want the grind or at least accept the fact that there's supposed to be a grind. Success doesn't come from you staying in your comfort zone because I know you really like it there, it's called a comfort zone for a reason and you can fall into the temptation of getting stuck in that zone for life.
But your growth and progress towards the success you do desire only comes when your plans crash, your mistakes increase, the easy way just disappears and you only have to move forward regardless of how hard things have gotten. That moment separates the men from the little boys or the women from the little girls in life.
The hard days teach better lessons than the easy ones. All the failure, rejections and disappointments make up a person's character. The tough times is what gives strength of character.
The rough days builds more patience than a quotes do, they force you to bring out strength from the tired muscles.
When you admire someone and look at their life, you never really see the ugly part. Successful people look so perfect like legends with no flaws, but the reality is they fail and have flaws you just don't see it.
Every win you see them have has behind it, long and difficult times of many small losses, tiredness, late nights, and trying their very best to get back up again after falling. So people see only the trophy, not the bruises.
Every goals you give to yourself will ask for tradeoffs. Progress takes time, energy and sweat in the hassles. Those who succeed in achieving a goal make that trade off, they stop at nothing to get what they want and they stop pretending pain is optional and continue moving forward with the pain.
Obstacles can be steps if they are treated genuinely and not as excuses. A bad day, a failed plan, a cold answer of rejection from a customer, these become the basic materials for change when they are used, not ignored.
The most important thing is the willingness to stay and become better even when the pace is slow and the scene is not looking good at all.
You'll need courage to make some choices, and you'll need patience when hope is at its lowest.
Pain will definitely come, so will failure and disappointments, but what you do next determines it all. Pain makes the meaning clearer. The result will be valuable when the hard work finally ends, because of everything that happened before. Don't stop, don't lose hope, keep looking forward.
