Will there be an end to war?

I was watching Avengers age of Ultron yesterday and I had to really think about what Ultron said to Captain America when the avengers met Ultron.

This was his quote to him and I had to make a meme edit of it.

Captain America. God's righteous man. Pretending you could live without a war. I can't physically throw up in my mouth, but..

Well the physically throwing up part was quite funny for me because I know he's a robot so he was admitting he couldn't throw up in his mouth, his limitations, but the live without war part has had me thinking.

I could have made this a snap as usual but decided to write on it because it's just too profound.

The question is, are we all like Captain America? We preach world peace but is it really possible for us to have a world without war?

I think it's very possible, we just stop fighting or attacking each other. But reality check is telling me that the solution and the problem is more nuanced than simply stopping something.

There's so many reasons why war goes on and all these reasons can't be taken away just like that.

The biggest reason for war is pretty obvious, war is big business. It's the way countries convince or I'd say force their citizens to pay more taxes, in the name of defense and protection. All of this war money could go into better healthcare and improving lives but it's going into profits.

Those involved in manufacturing weapons have no intention of stopping because it's their work just like how a coffin maker would not wish nobody to die. The system has been built that way.

Besides that is ego and insecurity. A war can easily break out just because one nation thinks the other is getting too dangerous, becoming a threat and must be stopped. Dispute over boarders is another reason. Also policies made by some powerful nations not approved by other powerful nations can lead to war and that's why I don't like Donald Trump's decisions most of the time. Thank God tariffs didn't lead to 3rd world war.

Can we live without war? Yes and maybe no. I wish we could make deals to stop but there's just too many variables to a point where no matter how much you try to make world peace happen, something can lead to a war breakout.

Captain America was an experiment, and the objective was to create a super solider for war, without war, Captain America is irrelevant so technically Ultron burned him really good with that line 😂😂
