Mic Check, Love Connect: My Vision for Relationship Podcasting

I am planning to start a video podcast this year, but I haven't yet drafted the strategy on how I will do it. In reality, it's very easy to share our goals and plans with others as if we know exactly what to do, but the truth is...

Executing it is challenging.

Last December, I decided to start a video podcast, something similar to Joe Rogan, The Ben Shapiro Show, etc. The truth is, I enjoy sharing my opinions and insights on various things, and I love engaging in conversations with people.

I also really like hearing the thoughts and opinions of others on different life topics. The topic I've been thinking about is mostly about love and relationships.

In this era, when you give advice to people, they often look for credibility. If you're going to advise people on handling stress, and you haven't studied Psychology or Psychiatry, many people will question your credibility.

But in love and relationships, there's no specific education branch for that. Although none of us can claim to be experts in relationships and love life, some people have a wealth of experiences in love and relationships, and I am one of them.

I want to share with people how I've handled the ups and downs, heartaches, pains, and joys of love and relationships. Of course, empathy is crucial when giving advice on relationships, and I believe having good moral values is essential. Without them, you might give advice that could make people even sadder in their love lives.

Not to brag, but many people ask me for advice on their love lives and relationships. Honestly, I'm not sure why they thought of asking me, but someone mentioned that I'm honest. Even if the truth is painful, I'll still say it and try to express it using kind words or examples.

I'm not the type of person to tell you only what you want to hear when you ask for advice, like some others who give false hope even when they see that the relationship is heading towards failure.

Another reason why I want to give advice on love and relationships is that I've survived the painful blows of heartaches. Of course, it depends on the person, I might just be strong-willed, which is why I've moved on from intense heartaches.

In this era of widespread "no strings attached," "friends with benefits," and forbidden relationships, I want to help people avoid such kinds of relationships. I've noticed that many people nowadays struggle to choose the right partner, and in the end, they wonder what went wrong when their relationship fails.

I also plan to make my video podcast somewhat humorous, with light discussions and stories rather than something heavy. I don't intend to make people cry, my goal is to bring joy and show the world of love in a different light.

Currently, I'm setting up a small room in our house where I plan to record. I've also brought out my wife's old microphone that she no longer uses for singing and karaoke. I've set up lights to ensure good video quality since I plan to use my laptop camera for recording.

I would also like to receive questions about love problems from real people, aside from addressing the usual issues that people encounter in relationships.

So, if you're someone facing challenges in love, please send me your story, and I will do my best to create a post about it while, of course, keeping your identity confidential. Hahaha!!!

I don't know when I'll start making my first video, as I feel mentally unprepared. But knowing myself, I might just suddenly decide to create one day in February r before January ends.

To those with podcasts out there, what advice do you have for me as a newbie in podcasting? As a podcast listener, what are you looking for in a podcast? Please drop a comment below, and I will highly appreciate it. Thanks!
