Kucoin Highlights - 2022 is for building a better Cryptoverse

The first half of 2022 was though for everyone in the Cryptoverse, with scandals, bankruptcy, hacks and a high level of panic over the future of cryptocurrencies. However, Kucoin kept building a better ecosystem! The People's Exchange didn't stopped the constant innovation just because the bear market and kept adding new tools and products for the users.

Kucoin is a champion in listing future low cap gems, adding new methods for crypto rewards and fresh crypto opportunities. The Burning Drop is by far one of my favorite additions. This new tool allows users to pledge KCS, USDT, ETH to hedge positions for different periods, and to obtain new coins on the exchange.

I was impressed about the higher level of utility for the $WELL token and I wanted to add it in my portfolio. The $WELL total supply is 5,000,000,000 tokens, with an initial circulating supply set at 50,000,000 tokens. I bought early, sold high and bought again when price was more accessible. I stopped playing on the exchange when I reached 252 $OLE, an amount that I consider fair enough for HODL mode.

My long term plan also involves Hydra, an open-source Proof-of-Stake blockchain with a unique set of economic features, using an unique combination of inflationary as well as deflationary mechanics as part of its economy. But what makes Kucoin special? The first unique selling point is the constant improvement, that leads directly to customer satisfaction. The progress is outstanding, as the trading volume for the first half of the year exceeded 2 trillion USD. This is an outstanding growth for Kucoin, 180% more when compared with the same period of 2021.

The highest daily volume peaked at 11 billion USD for daily trading and 23 billion USD for futures volume. Europe had the most accelerated growth rate, with 381% more volume then 2021. Latin America growth rate was 189%, while Africa & Middle East traded 152% more than in the same period of 2021.

Happy users lead to a positive image, and this is why Kucoin new registrations are reaching record levels. My portfolio grew by 25% even with the long bear market. Kucoin listed 137 new cryptocurrencies in Q1 and Q2 of 2022, with a 700 tradable assets milestone achieved. From the 137 new listings, 31 of them where added on Kucoin as a world premier! I enjoyed the Moonwell world premier and took advantage of the volatility to increase my holdings. I am buzzing while waiting for what the second part of 2022 will bring.

The Kucoin Wallet was launched as a secure crypto wallet for multiple chains. It was designed as a gateway for global crypto adoption, as Web3 will become part of our lifes.
