Watford, a soccer team in the English premier league will have Dogecoin on their shirts. This was a deal made between the soccer team and crypto casino along side a sport betting site stake.com. It was reported that this deal will be paid for in crypto, I think it’s obviously going to be paid for with Dogecoin. The deal is said to worth almost a million dollars but $970,500 to be precised.
When partnerships like this happen the firm partnering with the sports team usually create a buzz to create more awareness. So they will be a 10 million doge give away roughly worth over $2 million. We have lots of Dogecoin fans sponsor the wide advertising of the coin. We have seen it on race track and also an Olympic bobsled team.
Watford has also promoted bitcoin in 2019/2020 soccer season. They wore their jersey that had bitcoin crested on their shirts as a way to create awareness.
