RE: Youth Climate Activists Unite to Protect Free Speech and Democracy in the U.S

Hey, nice post again. Surprisingly, you often put out posts, that I can politically identify myself with.
I am regularly thinking, that what sucks about Social Media and also Hive, is that you interact with so many people, but rarely does it lead to any deeper conversations. Sometimes it does in the comment section, but that is still a pretty unpersonal experience. I believe that Social Media should be used more to truely connect with others and get into deeper conversations.
I would really love to politically discuss with you - but preferably in a non-public environment. Where can I hit you up for that? Do you have an email to share? Also I would like to make you aware of the possibility to send private info like email addresses encrypted via a Hive transaction. Are you even interested in such a discussion?

I didn't know there's any private way to talk, I only know of discord for Hive but honestly I don't go there at all. But thank you so much for the nice compliment i appreciate it. But really, Hive is about freedom of speech which is what allows me to even talk like that so for me I see it as the best place to share the opinions genuinely but private conversations would also be cool anyways. However i do think that people will have to get to know people more before they get interested in private conversations( by people i mean those we meet on social media)

I can only talk about Hive Keychain as that is the only thing I use. When you are on Hive, using the Chrome/Firefox extension on your computer, what you can do is to go to the "send"-tab, enter the recipient of your message, enter 0.001 HIVE as the amount (or anything else you want). Then you can enter the memo below. If you click the binary symbol (010110100) besides that, the message will be sent encrypted, so only you and the recipient can read it.
On the Android App of Hive Keychain the process is similar. There is no "send"-tab as on Firefox, but you have to go there via choosing the currency (for example HIVE) beforehand. After that, same process.

But knowing when you received such a message is quite hard. You would have to monitor your incoming transactions to know when there is a message among them, as there is no notification for incoming messages. So yea, Hive messaging is somewhat on the lower end of useful things on Hive.

I doubt you do get notifications. I just sent you a message saying "Hey there, did you get a notification?" but encrypted, so if I wouldn't just have said the content publicly, it would have been secret to others. Did you receive a notification? I never used ecency

Unfortunately I can't see anything like that

Well, you received 0.001 HIVE from an account you know. I suppose that is a well enough notification to check your incoming transactions, if this has been a personal message.
Good to know, thanks
