Whether in crypto or stocks, why do most people lose money? They say it's because of herd mentality. People decide when everybody talks about it. When they hear celebrity endorsements and institutional adoption, that's the time they decide.

Nobody wants to be perceived as crazy. When the media associates crypto with money laundering and scams, the majority don't want to get involved in it.

This is a classic paradox of markets. It has nothing to do with the value of the asset; it's more about human psychology.

This tells us that the market rewards contrarians. When doubt and uncertainty are widespread, you are silently growing your stakes.

Does similar psychology apply to Hive? Why don’t many buy Hive now?

It is because most people don't know that Hive exists. Those who know its existence are afraid. Hive @ $0.18 appears too risky. They fear it will crash to zero. The market cap is too low.

Moreover, few talk about Hive outside the network. And not only that, the growth of Hive's ecosystem does not excite many, unlike meme coins. Staking and curating are strange to many. The micro idea isn't attractive compared to the quick gain seen in the casino.

Perhaps when Hive reaches $5, that's the time many will pay attention to it. At that time, the stories of the early adopters will reinforce the success narrative, drawing the crowd.

The same psychology that made most people miss Bitcoin when it was unpopular is making them ignore Hive now. I am expectant to see the days of the entry of a wave of latecomers when Hive breaks out.
