Hello and welcome to Hive Open Mic Week 269. I'm @rishagamo, and for this week's concert, I'll be singing a cover of "Sunar Yesu" by Adi Eze.

The Last Time
The theme for the week is "The Last Time," which carries a lot of weight. It could refer to the last time you experienced something significant or the last time you saw someone important to you. For me, my song choice, "Sunar Yesu," speaks to the profound meaning the name of the Lord holds in my life.

"Sunar Yesu" translates to "The Name of Jesus." The lyrics beautifully articulate what this name represents: "The name of Jesus is my inheritance, the name of Jesus is my help, the name of Jesus is my victory, the name of Jesus is a holy name." This holy name has always been constant and true, remaining the same every single time I've called upon it.

This theme makes me reflect on the steadfastness of faith. In a world of constant change, it's comforting to know that some things remain unwavering. The power and significance of the name of Jesus have been a consistent source of strength and comfort for me, just as they were the last time I found solace in them, and as they will be in the future. It’s a timeless truth that offers guidance and hope, regardless of how much time passes or how many "last times" we encounter in our lives.
