I still find it awkward to talk to my parents on the topic of sex; this is because of how they, as well as society, have painted it to me. It is important to teach your child about sex yourself, not just teaching them about sex, but also teaching them the right things so that you are sure that your child has the right information that will keep them safe. Teaching them about sex will make them free to come to you at any time when they have questions about the topic or a misunderstanding.

That's sadly the case with many of the age group around yours or even beyond. Being open to discuss something like this will make your children free to come to you with any concern regarding it and you're in the best place to teach them or answer their questions.
