Try Again If...

He was only 8 years old. His main focus was to get good scores on his school exams. Just like every other kid in his school. He was receiving support from his parents. Time passes by so quickly. He grew up and reached high school. The concern raises as he was not getting the same good grades as he were when he was younger. The things he was studying were more challenging. His parents decided to pay for private lessons, till he reached university.

He was not the student who gets the highest grades. But, he was old enough to have a meaningful conversation with his parents. Years passed by, and he still remembers the advice that he has got from his parents. "Try again if you don't make it from first attempt". Was it the best advice? Maybe. At the time he heard, he thought it was true. He tried his best and was able to graduate and get a job. He bought a house in the city and had a small family that he cared about.

He was telling his wife, it is almost 40 years ago that I was given that advice. Now, after publishing my first painting. Something is not adding up. The advice was probably true. But, maybe it was missing the fact that one could try again in a different path. The path were his passion lies. We spend so many moments walking in the path of life and maybe we do not really have an answer if this is the right one. But, time goes by and our moments are counted. We do not know how much is left, but we keep spending from that resource.
