I began the actual counting to 20,000 paintings three weeks ago this Sunday. I added my previous hundred in this style completed in April and May. At the moment I am ahead two days, and I will continue to do more than three a day as often as possible so I can accrue extra days off. Next month I’m taking a trip to spend some time with my mother in South Carolina. I’ll bring supplies and try to sneak in at least a painting a day. Three will be difficult, so I want to have the extra days available to take off. I think tomorrow’s post will have me caught up, and then I’ll follow up with some good speeches about art revolution. The next 20 years is going to be very interesting. Change is coming and will be fantastic. It’s strange to be getting older yet feeling such lasting energy burning within. If I was a sun, I’d want to be a red dwarf.
