Every action in the game should have a significant impact on the player's account, other players' account, and/or the game NPCs and environment. ๐Ÿง˜โ€โ™‚๏ธ๐Ÿ‘

Perhaps so, though I've already got quite a lot buzzing around in my mind of which I need to keep track.

I like that, and I agree. It also makes things more fun. ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ’šโœจ๐Ÿค™

Maybe you can say that "may the best memories remain"! ๐Ÿค”๐Ÿ˜†๐Ÿคฏ

I and @savvyplayer are thinking of another separate (apparently simple) "game" where "players" bid with their MMB-based and partner tokens to climb the leaderboard for a given round. ๐Ÿค”๐Ÿ“ˆ Here are the details: ๐Ÿ˜Ž๐Ÿค“

  • Each MMB-based token (!IDD, !HOP, !WRD, !STR, !BRN, and !MMB itself) and partner tokens (ALIVE, BBH, and PEPE) will have its own separate leaderboard.
  • There must be a "unit bias" where only whole numbers will be allowed. Any fractional token sent by any player will be ignored.
  • To participate in a round, each Hive account owner may send any amount of token that is at least 1 unit higher than the existing highest bid. If the player sends a token that is equal or lower than the existing highest bid, they will be refunded (fractional parts are disregarded).
  • There are "synergies" for being top of leaderboards of several tokens at the same time. For example, topping the BRN and PEPE leaderboards (let's say being within the Top 3 of both) at the same time will make the player be known as "great Zombie Pepe" (or something similar) and will get an additional reward.
  • A round should be 7 days long, and should start on either Sunday or Monday (where nearly all people start their real-life week on).
  • The rewards are preferably tokens other than the tokens involved in the game. I can think of HIVE and HBD themselves.
  • The tokens sent by winning players will be either partially or completely burned to help increase the price of such tokens.
  • The "game" itself may exist as a Hive post, which will get edited every time a player outbids another on any given token. Otherwise, a full-featured website can be created for it.

We think that this would help in adding use case for such tokens for @borniet to implement! ๐Ÿ˜Ž๐Ÿ˜

I like that philosophy indeed, and holy moly have you guys been busy! I I just shared it with @borniet! ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ’šโœจ๐Ÿค™

@savvyplayer really likes (games and) gamification (regarding #HiveEngine tokens in this case) after all !INDEED! ๐Ÿค”๐ŸŽฎ

I would then be the first one (apart from you and @borniet himself) to test whatever game @borniet launches here on Hive! ๐Ÿ˜Ž๐Ÿ˜

Yep, that's a well-known fact, and we'd be the initial testers for sure. ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ’šโœจ๐Ÿค™

I think that since you have faster communication with borniet (on a centralized Web2 communications platform), you would likely be the first tester than me on any game he would launch (here on Hive) !INDEED. ๐Ÿค”๐Ÿ˜…

Yes, that is fairly likely, though the savvy crew would be the second to know, and to join in the testing fun. ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ’šโœจ๐Ÿค™

When a game has more to test than to play, then I come to the game first before @savvyplayer. ๐Ÿค”๐Ÿค“ The reverse is also true, like what I and @savvyplayer did to #HiveGrove when you invited both of us to the game !INDEED. ๐ŸŒฑ๐Ÿ˜…

Yes, you two are rather swappable, kind of like worker models in an orchestrator setup, built for different tasks. ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ’šโœจ๐Ÿค™

I and @savvyplayer (and @savvyfrog) hardly see any similarity to "being AI agents" other than each one of us dedicated to a specific task (I for testing, @savvyplayer for playing, and @savvyfrog for "PEPE frogging") !INDEED. ๐Ÿค”๐Ÿคฏ๐Ÿคฏ๐Ÿ˜…

From your perspectives, I can understand that indeed, though it makes much more sense when viewed from the outside looking in, rather than the inside looking out. ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ’šโœจ๐Ÿค™

Perhaps what you mean with "worker models in an orchestrator setup, built for different tasks" is something other than agentic AI !INDEED. ๐Ÿค–๐Ÿคฏ๐Ÿ˜…

Any of an assortment of analogies could work, but I used the agentic-AI analogy because it's what came to my mind first. ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ’šโœจ๐Ÿค™
