Gold to Diamond is a very big jump in terms of costs/investments. I'm sticking to Gold as it is more feasible to me, and I actually haven't battled in Diamond. I do upgrade my account to Diamond at EOS just for the chests, but my ranked battles are Gold.

Sure, it is a huge jump and according to the card level it is same like the Champion! I am also much more flexible in gold league but I am planning to climb only for the loot chest first as for more loot chest keeping high rating required max level summoners and monsters, and I am just at the initial stage.
