Mix of Stained Glass and Epoxy Resin

50 grams of two-part epoxy resin from the Deals shop and and a butterfly soldered from waste from stained glass production.
Soldering was lazy and with the wrong soldering iron, so I decided to experiment with a simple epoxy.
Actually, the first pour came out poorly because of improper mixing. There are air bubbles because I don't have thinner.
I used a regular plastic cup as a mold.
Regarding soldering. Unfortunately, I couldn't use more copper foil. It had to be soldered well. And for soldering, I needed rosin, which I couldn't find quickly. That's why the soldering looks... like shit)
It will be 48 hours before I start sanding and polishing.
I'm planning to make a key chain or backpack out of this. Well, yeah... 60+ grams)

It's better to do such things in a silicone mold.
I mean pouring epoxy resin
Silicone peels off epoxy very well
And also the silicone can be heated well to release bubbles
It is even better to use a thinner resin.
Or a resin with a long curing time
I have already written a lot about soldering.
During the classes, we were offered soldering irons without flux.
It's kind of crazy to solder without flux, acid, or rosin.
And also the madness of soldering without using stands. That's how I soldered.
Not to say that I really like epoxy resin in my work.
But with the help of epoxy you can get very interesting results.
The main thing is to follow the rules, especially with organic materials.
For example, before pouring a layer of porous organic surfaces to prevent bubbles.
Bubbles really spoil the appearance.
