Hello and welcome to my blog! I'm @Shemjosh, and I'm thrilled to be participating in the Hive Music Festival, Week 142, Round 1.

For this special event, I've chosen to cover the iconic song "This is the Air I Breathe" by Hillsong. This powerful worship anthem has touched and ministered to the hearts of many, and I'm honored to share my own ministration with a piano accompaniment with you.

The song's title, "This is the Air I Breathe," beautifully captures the essence of our dependence on God. Just as we need air to breathe to sustain our physical lives, we need God's presence to nourish our souls. The lyrics poignantly express a deep longing for God's presence acknowledging that it's the very essence of our existence.

The song's message resonates deeply with me, and I believe it will with you too. It's a declaration of our reliance on God, a statement of faith that echoes the words of Psalm 42:1-2, “As the hart panteth after the water brooks, So panteth my soul after thee, O God. My soul thirsteth for God, for the living God: When shall I come and appear before God?”

As i prepare to share my cover of "This is the Air I Breathe," I'm reminded of the importance of worship in our lives. Worship is an act of surrender, a recognition of God's sovereignty and love. ( “So then, my friends, because of God's great mercy to us I appeal to you: Offer yourselves as a living sacrifice to God, dedicated to his service and pleasing to him. This is the true worship that you should offer.”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭12‬:‭1‬ ‭GNT‬‬) It's a declaration of our trust in Him, even when the world around us seems uncertain.

Through this song, I pray that you'll be encouraged to seek God's presence, to breathe in the fresh air of His love and redemption. May the lyrics and sound resonate deep within your soul, reminding you of the unwavering love and faithfulness of our Heavenly Father Amen 🙏.
