🚧 Renovation work of our big bridge is underway to protect development and safety 🛠️

The renovation and repair work of one of the main means of communication in our area and the largest bridge is currently progressing in full swing. Due to long-term use and excessive pressure from traffic, several steel plates or expansion joints in the middle of the bridge had become weak. This repair initiative has been taken to make this important infrastructure completely safe and long-lasting.

Basically, the old and corroded steel plates in the middle of the bridge are being replaced with completely new and improved quality plates. It is already seen that workers and engineers are very skillfully removing the concrete part with the help of modern drilling and breaker machines and completing the initial work of replacing the joints with new ones. The main goal of this renovation work is to make the main infrastructure of the bridge stronger so that it can easily bear the pressure of heavy vehicles and its durability or lifespan increases many times over.

To facilitate this development work and to ensure the safety of pedestrians and workers, one lane of the bridge has been completely closed to traffic. On one side of the closed lane, various construction materials such as iron rods, cement bags, tarpaulin-covered goods and concrete mixer machines have been neatly arranged. A specific traffic angle has been set up to mark the route so that vehicles can move carefully on the other side.

Due to the temporary closure of one side, there is some traffic congestion or slow movement on the bridge during peak hours, which has caused some suffering to the common people. However, this temporary inconvenience will give us a beautiful and long-lasting future. Such renovations are very important to ensure a large and sustainable infrastructure. Therefore, for the sake of the overall development of the area, we should all cooperate in this development work and it is necessary to exercise maximum caution while moving on the bridge. It is hoped that the bridge will be fully opened to everyone again once the work is completed soon.
