Bringing the ATM machine back to life.

Sometimes in professional life, there are tasks that test one's patience, but also give a strange sense of satisfaction after completing them successfully. Yesterday, I faced a similar challenge. Suddenly, a major mechanical fault occurred in an ATM machine.

While examining the machine, I found that an important gear inside it was completely broken. This gear was the main drive or speed controller of the entire machine. In other words, due to this one part becoming useless, the entire machine had become completely immobile.

The task seemed simple enough, but in reality it was much more complicated than it seemed. The broken gear was in such a place that in order to change it, the entire mechanism or arrangement inside the machine had to be opened. I was forced to carefully disassemble and separate all the complex belts, connecting shafts and other gears around the machine one by one. A little carelessness or a wrong connection of a belt could have permanently destroyed the entire machine. Anyone would have been shocked to see the intricate web of belts and gears inside.

Removing the broken gear, installing a new gear, and reassembling each belt and part as before was an extreme ordeal. After almost two long hours of continuous intensive effort, perfect concentration, and hard work, I was finally able to complete the entire task. When every part of the mechanism started moving and rotating as before, it was as if a huge stone had been lifted from my chest.

The happiest moment came when the machine was restarted at the end of the work. Alhamdulillah, after overcoming all the complications, the machine is now fully operational and it is possible to successfully withdraw live transactions or money from it. When the money started reaching the customers again, all the fatigue of the last two hours of bone-crushing work disappeared in an instant. This joy of conquering a difficult task is truly indescribable.
