Today's Work Experience: Maintenance Diary of NCR CRM 61 Machine 🛠️🤖
Today was quite a busy and at the same time very educational. Today was an opportunity to solve some important technical problems of an NCR CRM 61 machine. Those of you who work with this type of banking automation hardware, must know how important it is to maintain the perfect performance of these devices.
The machine had two major problems - mechanical complications in its Escrow module and Pocket / Cash Shutter module. After starting the work, while doing a thorough diagnosis, I found that the parts needed to be completely changed. At the beginning of the work, I carefully disassembled the entire mechanism. The internal modules of the machine are quite complex and very sensitive.
As planned, first I replaced the faulty 'Pocket' module with a completely new pocket. This module plays a very important role in the exchange of customer money, as can be seen during the setting. After successfully replacing the pocket, I moved on to the next step.
The next task was the 'Escrow' module. The escrow module is basically used to temporarily hold and process money. To make it work perfectly, I removed the old faulty escrow and replaced it with a new escrow module.
You can see where the inner rolling shaft is being worked on with a screwdriver and perfect hand work.
Finally, some parts needed to be re-changed or rearranged to maintain the balance and synchronization of the entire system. After completing the complete replacement and re-change process, when I ran the machine, it started working smoothly without any errors.
After solving such subtle problems in any hardware maintenance work, when the device is back up and running, there is a different kind of mental satisfaction that can be forgotten and forgotten. It feels great to have successfully completed the task!
