A story of an old man fishing on a quiet afternoon.

The afternoon sky is very magical today. Who doesn't like to get lost on the riverbank, a little away from the hustle and bustle of the busy city? Today, I went for a walk on the riverbank on a lazy afternoon. The surroundings are quite quiet, the chirping of crickets and the gentle sound of the river water all together create a great atmosphere. While walking along the riverbank, I suddenly saw a great scene, which forced me to stop.
An old man is sitting alone on a rock on the riverbank. He is wearing simple clothes, but his attention is completely focused on the water. With a small rod in his hand, he is fishing with great patience. The noise of the city or the thought of time cannot touch him. Looking at his still sitting posture and staring at the water, it seemed that he is not just fishing, but rather searching for some deep peace in his life.
Fishing is a strange art. It requires a lot of patience, which many of us have lost in today's busyness. Seeing that old man, I felt unconsciously that life is also like that. We are restless because we don't get anything, but sometimes it is most important to get away from everything and sit still. Even if we wait for hours and don't catch a fish, he doesn't get upset. He knows that success doesn't come suddenly, you have to wait patiently for it.

The water of the river is very still, as if it is flowing with some unknown mystery in its heart. The line of the old man's rod is floating gently on the water. I stood there for a while and enjoyed the scene. His quiet concentration gave me a strange love. This is life, where absolute peace is hidden in small moments. It is not big achievements, but these small moments of sitting alone on the river bank in the afternoon sun and fishing that provide us with mental peace.
In the mechanical life of the city, we are constantly running, but the times we spend in the proximity of nature like this old man, calmly, teach us to live anew. It was very nice to see this old man fishing on the river bank today. It was as if he taught me how to enjoy every moment of life. That small time will remain a special memory for me even today. Sometimes, such a form of nature is our ultimate refuge to calm our restless mind. I will come to the river bank again, to witness such a silent immersion.
