An afternoon at a busy fish market and some fresh fish stories.

Yesterday afternoon, I took some time off from work to visit the fish market that is familiar to us. As soon as I stepped inside the market, the familiar smell hit my nose and the noise around created a different atmosphere. In the evening light, the surroundings took on a magical appearance with the light of the hanging bulbs inside the market.

As evening fell, the market was quite crowded with buyers. People of all ages were bargaining and buying their favorite fish. The sellers were also handling the buyers with a smile. Some were standing and some were sitting on benches, cleaning or measuring the fish with utmost care. This busyness of the market always paints a vivid picture of our rural or urban life.

I also wandered around for quite a while and saw a collection of different types of fresh fish. Starting from silver hilsa shrimp arranged in rows to various types of local fish. My heart was filled with the sight of fresh fish. I spent a long time choosing and buying several fresh fish of my choice. This joy of buying fresh fish from the market is different.

When I left the hustle and bustle of the market and headed home, the freshness of the fresh fish hanging in the bag and the vivid memories of the market brought me a sense of satisfaction. In this way, these small experiences of the market are mixed into our daily lives, which take us very close to our roots.
