Jackfruit Chat on a Rainy Day.

A Piece of Contentment The clouds moving across the sky outside, the sound of the drizzle and the cool breeze that broke the sweltering heat, all combined, made yesterday's weather completely different. When the surroundings become calm on such a balmy day, my mind also searches for a different food. To enhance this rainy day mood a little more, I hurriedly brought juicy ripe jackfruit from the market.

Jackfruit is our national fruit, and its taste and aroma are mixed with a strange illusion. The familiar scene of breaking jackfruit, the busyness of peeling it, and the collective joy of the whole family, all combined, made yesterday a great time. When I returned home and arranged the jackfruit on a plate, my tongue could not help but water when I saw its bright yellow color. We all sat in a circle with plates full of jackfruit. The joy of sitting with loved ones and eating such fresh and sweet jackfruit on a rainy day is different.

Yesterday's chat was proof of how small moments can become much more special without any arrangements. No fatigue of cooking, no complications, just the satisfaction of our family sitting together around a simple fruit and eating was worth seeing. The sound of the rain outside and the chat inside are like a perfect combination. Such small moments of happiness are the real gift of life.
