This afternoon I went to the river bank. The wind by the river always brings a strange peace to my mind. The surrounding cool environment and open nature refreshes the mind. Forgetting the daily hustle and bustle and spending some time close to nature really gives a great feeling. While walking in such a peaceful environment, suddenly my eyes were caught by a strange scene among the grass and wild trees on the river bank.

A beautiful insect was sitting on the top of a young and tall tree amidst the green leaves. Its body color and shape were quite attractive. This brown insect looked great amidst the green color of the leaves. These small creations of nature often escape our attention, but if we pay a little attention, their beautiful appearance is visible.I really liked seeing the insect sitting on the branch so calmly.

It was quietly staying there in its own mind. I could not resist the temptation to capture this scene on my mobile camera. So I stood there and patiently took several photographs. It took me a while to get the perfect shot and I took the photos from different angles. There is a kind of joy hidden in taking pictures of nature. Especially when an insect or a wildflower can be captured up close, the satisfaction of the work increases even more.

I will remember this moment spent in the sweet breeze of the riverbank and the green foliage surrounding me for a long time. I would not have been able to experience the beauty and wonder that nature has spread around us without getting this close. This little experience by the riverbank this afternoon really made my day.
