The softness of the late afternoon at Tongi River Port.

I set out for Tongi River Port yesterday afternoon in search of some peace and quiet, away from the hustle and bustle of the mechanical city. The time spent gazing at the calm waters of the river at dusk is truly memorable. This place in Tongi basically creates a strange mixed feeling. On the one hand, the pulse of busy city life, on the other hand, the slow flow of the river, all in all, a great balance. When I reached there in the afternoon, the sky was cloudy, and the shadow of the clouds fell on the water of the river, creating a magical atmosphere.

The small and big boats tied up at the port's wharf and the Kachuripana floating on the riverbed were like a living picture. Especially the calm presence of the river port office and the dredgers or boats anchored next to it made it seem as if time was moving a little slower. It was truly a great experience to get away from the mechanical city and lose yourself in the sound of the water and the gentle breeze.

Walking along the riverbank, seeing such a gentle form of nature, my fatigue disappeared in an instant. The dim appearance of the city was visible in the distance, and this river port was like a piece of peaceful shelter in the middle of it. At the end of the day, chatting with familiar friends and being so close to nature, I felt that we don't need to go far to find peace, there are many such gentle places spread around us.

Such an afternoon taught me how important it is for our minds to take a little break from the daily workload. These peaceful moments on the river gave me new energy. For those who want to spend some quiet time, this environment of Tongi river port can undoubtedly be a wonderful place.
