RE: What are the financial implications if Rings of Power goes bust - meme review

It’s funny that Hollywood is so obsessed with propaganda nowadays. They were genuinely more diverse and “woke” before all this — I can’t think of better examples than Sigourney Weaver and Uma Thurman as good female leads in “Alien” and “Kill Bill,” and as for diversity it seems Tinseltown has long forgotten gems like Wesley Snipes as “Blade” or the successful “Rush Hour” series which had an Asian man and black man as legitimately talented leads, Chan and Tucker. Lately and this is only a theory, I don’t think current diversity and woke movements are anyway about awareness and inclusion, I think they’re just a government op to distract and divide. They want people to hate each other, to turn on their TV’s and streaming sites and see conflict and ugliness — someone complaining about someone, everyone being ugly and unkempt but blaming systems or others for their unhappiness. I’ve noticed there’s a push to put a lot of incredibly unattractive and untalented hacks on the big screen as of late. They don’t want entertainment to be inspiring anymore. They want the nightmare to be constant, not just in reality but our fantasies as well.

As for the new Game of Thrones prequel, so far it’s had a very gradual slope of improvement but like you pointed out with Rings of Power, there’s been a focus on hiring newcomers when it comes to actors and writers and it shows. People think children are migrating in droves to Tiktok and YouTube because they’re intrinsically better or cheap which isn’t entirely nonsense but we all live in the Internet age. Kids can watch whatever they want for free. And other than old stuff they’d have to search for, most new movies and TV shows are shit so they invest in something shorter that has less likelihood to be such a waste of time.

Hope it isn’t weird I’m replying on a month old post. Great memes by the way.

I'm actually glad people go trough my older posts :) unfortunately on Hive there is no such things as " evergreen content", like for example a youtube video that is relevant and funny even 10 years after it was published. Btw I only watch rings of dog poo so I can enjoy all the memes and videos bashing it :P ( and of course I do it for free, the bald billionaire ain't getting even a shitcoin from me )
