Not my favourite Brian, but I'm 'Blessed' by the achievement all the same!

OK, then, you've peaked my curiosity...how does one achieve this coveted Proof of Brian?

You need to show proof of Brian, or lack of brain, I guess!

@proofofbrian is the bot/account. Created by Steevc as a way to enlighten users to their lack of brain and inclusion of brian in their tags.

#proofofbrain?
No,
#proofofbrian!

But your tag is proofofbrain. Did you edit it? That's why I was confused/wondering. 🤔

I actually made a mistake with it, sort of. I guess the bot looks also for poofofbrain, which mine reads. I'm missing the first r in proof.

I think that was the same tag that was posted on threads about the 999th user activating it. I forgot the account was actually proofofbrian, which I guess is a more common mistake to make. I wonder if @steevc has data on which mistakes are most common and what other tags it looks for.

I did some investigation into which were the most common typos. Proofofbrian was one of the first I saw and that inspired the bot. I'll miss some, but then it was just for fun.

Dude. I checked that tag like 5 times and never saw the poofofbrain. Being human sucks. 😂

I think we're just hardwired to 'read' what we 'think' we saw, our brains seem to 'autocorrect' a lot. It's like those images that spam around social media, sentence starts fine, then goes to mumbo jumbo, but your brain just decodes it so it reads correctly. Crazy!
