My Frontier deck progress and Goodbye to 2025

Hi Splinterlands lovers,

In the previous post, I already shared with you 6 ways to earn with Splinterlands for beginners. And I emphasized the importance of playing Frontier format regularly. As 2025 is approaching its end, I would like to update the progress on my Frontier deck.

1. Fire Splinter

Let’s examine my Fire Splinter. For some reason, it’s never been my favorite, and that seems to impact my Frontier deck. With the Summoner only at level 2, Fire ends up being my weakest Splinter.

If you haven't known it yet, the level of the Summoner will impact your monster level. The higher it is, the higher level of monsters you can put on the battlefield. Here is the chart for your reference.

With my level 2 summoner, I can only use level 3 Common monsters. Even I have Sturdy Axe Warden level 4, this will be capped at level 3 on the battlefield.

2. Water Splinter

In Water Splinter, I got level 3 Summoner - Marlai Singariel. However, my Water monsters are at low level. I need to level them up to be stronger. At least, they must be at the capped level of my summoner.

3. Earth Splinter

I have better luck in Earth Splinter when pulling the cards from Daily rewards. As you can see, I got more GF cards than other Splinters.

About the Earth Summoner - Aurelia - she is at level 3 and 6 BCX away from the max level. She should be my next target to max level for the summoner.

4. Light Splinter

I already got max level Light Summoner - Incessant Sage.

The reason is straightforward — she had the lowest price. I decided to purchase her while the cost was still cheap, picking up some BCX at around $0.05 and leveling up. Now that the price has risen, I sold the extra cards from my Daily Frontier chest for $0.07–$0.087. I believe that was a smart decision.

Besides playing in Frontier format, I can also use Incessant Sage in Modern format. Since I upgraded her to level 4, I have better results inthe Modern format.

5. Death Splinter

I just upgraded Death Summoner - Thalgrimore - to level 3 recently. I face a lot of challenges when facing Death Splinter, especially with Little Sister level 2. I must upgrade my Little Sister to level 2 because she will get 1 more magic damage and Flying skill, which is very useful when against the Death opponent.

6. Neutral Splinter

There is no Summoner in Neutral Splinter, but it has 2 Legendary monsters. I have a good luck to get the GF A'lan Musketeer. I use him very often in my battle.

I also got another Regular foil A'lan Musketeer. I put him on sale and will use these earnings to purchase other cards. The next one to level up should be Great Bear Druid. He will get 1 additional melee attack.

7. Next step

  • My 1st priority is to buy 1 more Great Bear Druid and Little Sister to maximize their level. It can help me a lot in the coming battles

  • My 2nd priority is to level up Fire Summoner Barthalamas to level 3.

  • I will sell some GF cards if they are at a good price, for example, the Fire Legendary - Agniavan Salamander. I have two GF cards, and selling one GF will not impact the power of my deck. Then I will use these earnings to buy back other cards to improve my deck.

  • The final target is to maximize the level of all the Frontier cards.
