This is my entry for the Battle Mage Secrets challenge
This week's theme is the Noxious Fumes ruleset, so I want to share a battle with it.

The battle ruleset

• 50 mana cap
• Ruleset - Noxious Fumes and Broken Arrows
• Splinter - Water/Fire/Death and Dragon can be used
  

Noxious Fumes is one of my favorite rulesets. Normally, I use Martyr monsters in this battle in position 2 or 4. Noxious Fumes will kill the Martyr monsters and strengthen my monsters in position 1,3,5. However, the 2nd ruleset of this battle is Broken Arrows so I can not use my Martyr monsters and I need to think about other options.
Another choice is the Immunity monster. I have Immunity monsters in Fire and Death splinter.
Cleanse and Heal are also 2 abilities to be considered with Noxious Fumes ruleset as well.
Finally, I decided to go with Fire Splinter in this battle.

My lineup

Summoner		Tarsa - to give +1 melee attack and +1 health point to all my monsters. With Noxious Fumes, the more health points mean a higher chance to survive
1st position		Iidri Fyre - high health points with Taunt ability to protect my backline monsters
2nd position		Ferexian Hero - he can give the +2 melee attack to Iidri Fyre and still can attack in 2nd position with Reach ability
3rd position		Sandworm - he doesn't has high health point but has high melee attack. He will target the enemy backline monster with his Sneak ability
4th position		Scavo Chemist - to remove the Noxious Fumes effect from 1st position monsters and help them stand longer on the battlefield
5th position		Forgotten One -he has Immunity ability and Noxious Fumes can not take an effect on him. Like his name, I just put him in this position and forgot him in the early rounds but he will his strength in later rounds
6th position		Tenyii Striker - another melee monster with Sneak ability. He not only attack the enemy backline monster but also protect Forgotten One.

The battle

I see some strategies in the enemy lineup

• Kelya Frendul to make the early attack with +1 Speed and to protect better his monsters with +1 armor
• Merdaali Guardian and Spirit Hoarder to heal the frontline and backline monsters
• River Nymph to clear the Noxious Fumes effect with Cleanse ability
• The disadvantage of this lineup is low health-point from 3 middle monsters and they're eliminated by poison drops after 2-3 rounds

Everything went well until round 5, when there was only 1 monster from each side. It's Forgotten One from my side and Djinn Oshannus on my enemy's side. Djinn Oshannus has much higher speed than my Forgotten One and Forgotten One missed one attack. At this time, I was a little bit worried about losing this game if he missed the next attack.
Finally, he successfully attacked Djinn Oshannus and sealed the winning in round 6.
