Hello all Splinterlands friends,
This is my entry for the Battle Mage Secrets challenge.
This week's theme is the Up to Eleven ruleset, so I would like to share a battle with it.

The battle ruleset

  • 16 mana cap - a low mana battle
  • Ruleset - Up to Eleven and Aimless
  • Splinter - Only Death Splinter can be used in this battle

With these rulesets, I decided to use Owster Rotwell to get the Magic Reflect skill for all of my monsters. Magic Reflect combines with Amplify from Up to Evelen will be a threat to my enemy if she/he uses magic monsters.

This post is also my farewell to Owster Rotwell - one of my favorite summoners - in Modern format because he will removed from the Modern format when Rebellion cards are released in the coming days.

My lineup

SummonerOwster Rotwell - only level 2, so I can not use capped level monsters in this battle.
1st positionVenari Marksrat - he doesn't need to deal any attack, the main purpose to put him here is to enhance my Usut in 2nd position with his Martyr ability
2nd positionUsut - I think Usut is the best choice in this position. If my enemy uses magic monsters and it's killed by Magic Reflect from Usut, Usut stats will be increased with Bloodlust. If my enemy uses melee or range monsters, 4 armors will help Usut stay firmly on the battlefield

The battle

You can click on the image to watch the battle

  • My enemy had 5 monsters on the battlefield with Thaddius Brood level 4. Most of the monsters are at cap level, except Corpse Fiend
  • As expected, there is Life Sapper - a magic monster - on the battlefield and he was counter-attacked and killed by my Usut in round 2. Usut magic attack increased to 2.
  • In Round 2, my Venari Marksrat was blown away easily and Usut magic attack increased to 3. The game became easy for my team because the remaining enemy monsters had low HP, Usut could kill them with 1 attack.
  • In the end, my team won in Round 6. It took time because Usut needed to kill one by one. Usut magic attack increased to 7 when the game closed.

That's all for now.
Hope you enjoy this battle and have a nice weekend!

I like how you this time not dealt with a Bronze opponent all Level 1, but mostly maxed out Silver, even though the cards you played still in Bronze. Well done challenge post! !invest_vote

In fact, I want to have higher level cards but I can afford them all. Especially after Rebellion, they are not available in Modern format anymore ;)

Oh, I couldn't tell whether this was a Modern battle, but true, you're rumbling the Modern league for quite a while now. While I can't wait to see the soulbound cards from Chaos Legion freed into the market soon! This will be in a day, will it be? !invest_vote
