Splinterlands challenge - Weak Magic | A Water battle
Hello all Splinterlands friends,
This is my entry for the Battle Mage Secrets challenge.
This week's theme is the Weak Magic ruleset, so I want to share a battle with it.
The battle ruleset
- 18 mana cap - a low mana battle
- Ruleset - Weak Magic and Target Practice
- Splinter - Water/Fire and Earth can be used in this battle
With these rulesets, I decided to go with Water Splinter which I have high armor monsters as well as fast monsters. I don't have any Rebellion cards in my deck now, so I still fight the battle with my CL version.
My lineup
Summoner | ![]() | Kelya Frendul - additional speed and armor are essential in this battle to take the advantage in the game |
---|---|---|
1st position | ![]() | Diemonshark - high armor, high speed with good health and attack. No one better than him in this position |
2nd position | ![]() | Tide Biter - another high speed monster with Reach skill so he can attack from 2nd position |
3rd position | ![]() | Musa Saline - I want to use her Shatter ability to remove enemy armor as quickly as possible |
4th position | ![]() | Torrent Fiend - to protect Musa Saline if enemy uses any monsters with Opportunity or Sneak skill |
The battle

- My enemy also chose Water Splinter with Possibilus the Wise as the summoner. Diemonshark is also the tanker and Venari Marksrat in the 2nd position.
- The expectation is Venari Marksrat to be killed by Snipe from Target Practice and strengthen 2 monsters close to him. However, I only had Musa Saline on the battlefield and it was not enough to kill Venari Marksrat before the enemy Diemonshark faded out in round 3.
- Without Diemonshark on the battlefield, my team easily closed the game in round 5
That's all for now.
I hope you enjoy this battle and have a nice weekend!

I like how you were up to a Possibilus the Wise, while it had a weak team. And you had a strong Diemonshark. I don't know when I had ever seen this card that strong. Well done! !invest_vote
Thanks!
Diemonshark indeed is a strong monster, especially when he is up to level 4 with Enrage. I see Enrage and Trample are a perfect combination.
Indeed, there are some combinations making it OP! !invest_vote
